IUPS INDUSTRIAL UPS SYSTEM

The La Marche Industrial Uninterrupted Power System (IUPS) is designed based on pulse width modulation (SPWM) rectifier and inverter using fully digital DSP+ IGBT technology. This transformer-based double-conversion IUPS is highly robust, well-proven and provides the highest level of flexibility. This transformer-based IUPS incorporates the latest designs and operates at high efficiency while providing galvanic isolation. For Three Phase units, the 12-pulse rectifier section generates very low total harmonic current distortion (THD) under 5% improving input power factor. The low AC ripple currents in DC voltage along with a battery test feature improves battery life and availability. The IUPS is designed with an output transformer, allowing flexibility where bypass voltage and rectifier input voltage can be from a separate source. The built-in Static Switch using power SCRs provide instantaneous transfers. (less than 4ms) to an alternate source if any disturbance occurs at the UPS input. The highly reliable IUPS is the preferred choice in mission-critical applications and high-power data centers compared to transformer-free UPS technology. The La Marche IUPS is equipped with a dynamic real-time Touch-Screen mimic panel displaying power flow, voltages and currents, alarms and status, data logging, and user-friendly password protected configuration capabilities. The IUPS is highly customizable; kVA rating, Input/Output Voltages, Charger Sizing, enclosure protection ratings, distribution, isolation bypass transformer, distribution, and many more.

ADVANTGAES:

Superior Power Quality with Isolation Transformers. The IUPS includes both input and output isolation transformers, which provide galvanic isolation between the input, output, and battery. This enhances safety, protects downstream equipment from electrical noise and disturbances, and allows for flexible input and output voltages — especially critical in industrial and mission-critical environments.

High Efficiency with Advanced IGBT-SPWM Technology. Using fully digital IGBT-based SPWM (Sinusoidal Pulse Width Modulation) ensures high efficiency in both rectification and inversion. This reduces heat generation and energy loss, making the system more cost-effective over time while maintaining a pure sinewave output, which is essential for sensitive loads.

Low Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) and Improved Power Factor. The 12-pulse rectifier in three-phase units significantly lowers input current THD to under 5%, reducing strain on upstream power sources and improving input power factor. This leads to greater compatibility with utility power and generator sources, reducing interference and improving overall system efficiency.

Instantaneous Transfer to Backup Power. The Static Bypass Switch, built with high-speed power SCRs, enables transfers to an alternate power source in less than 4 milliseconds during input disturbances. This ensures zero interruption to the load, making it ideal for mission-critical applications like data centers, control rooms, and industrial automation.

Advanced Monitoring and Customization. The system offers a 7″ touchscreen with mimic panel, real-time monitoring, web-based access, data logging, and alarm contact points — all of which provide operators with full visibility and control. Combined with customizable kVA ratings, charger sizes, and enclosure options, the IUPS is highly adaptable to specific site and load requirements.
